Amber Portman: Teen Mom Star
Amber Portman, the 21-year-old Teen Mom star attempted to commit suicide on Tuesday morning, according to police in Anderson, Indiana. Reports say she was depressed and talking as if she wanted to end her life. She was taken to a local medical hospital for evaluation.
Her on-off boyfriend, Gary Shirley, took time for a short visit with her at the St. John`s Hospital on Tuesday. He tweeted that he had never cheated on Amber and he will always love her and respect her. How nice, then why not make this a proper family. She has custody of their 2-year old daughter.
Amber Portman has since been released from hospital after her 72 hour hold and evaluation. Gary had called the police when Amber seemed so depressed. They found her lying on her couch with a rope rapped around her neck. She was in and out of consciousness. She is now receiving a lot of support from fans.
