Craigslist: Prostitution, Murder and Scams
You can advertise just about everything for sale on Craigslist. What about the man that pimped his wife as a prostitute on Craigslist, then shot her client before the police arrived. Just maybe he decided not to pay for her services.
Scams on Craigslist are probably rampant, when it is free to list anything and everything on the website. Someone may pay for an item using a money order, and weeks later you realize that the money order was bogus. Craigslist warns you to be aware of scams.
Craigslist used to be the place for prostitutes to advertise their wares. Prostitution has now taken a new twist, setting up stakes on Facebook, no more waving over the prostitute to your car. Craigslist does work for buying and selling items and so does Kijiji, which are both free websites.
